Vapor Trail 125 - Event Details

Things will be very much the same in '09 as in '08.

If you don't have an ACA license and a CORSAR card we will be buying one for you. If you have either of those already, please bring it along and show it to us so we can skip adding that expense.

Registration will start at 7:30 PM on the 12th at Absolute Bikes in Salida. Please be as prompt as possible.

The event will roll promptly at 10:00 PM. You will need at least 3-4 hours worth of intense lighting for riding technical singletrack. If you are super fast you might need more because you may reach a 2nd technical singletrack section before dawn. You will also need a backup light source, and some light source that will allow you to climb (relatively slower and less technical than the night-time singletrack sections) like a good helmet-mounted petzl.

There will be 5 aid stations. At aid station 3 on Monarch Pass you will have access to a drop bag. You will pass aid station 4 twice. There will be cut-off times for each aid station.
